NEWS: What are Blink-182 up to?

New Music in April?

That’s what’s being assumed after Mark Hoppus stated in a Twitter Q&A session that April is when we should be hearing something new from the band:

@BritterrC I believe it’s April now.

The Q&A also shed light on potential collaborations on the next record, saying he would love to work with Halsey:

@blurrycarla Yes absolutely

Meanwhile in the World of Tom DeLonge…

Word is DeLonge is going to be directing a movie, titled Strange Times, taken from DeLonge’s planned book series. The first in the trilogy, Strange Times: The Ghost In The Girl, released last October. And, of course, Strange Times will center:

“on rebellious skateboarding friends who encounter, and subsequently investigate, paranormal activity in San Diego.”

Angels and Airwaves are set to do the soundtrack for this one too. Read more about that story here.

The news comes after it was announced a few weeks ago that Frank Turner will be on the support slot for Blink-182’s UK Arena dates. A lot of people were surprised by this announcement, questioning whether Turner was right for the tour, but we think it’ll go down a storm.

You can grab tickets for these shows here. Blink-182 released their new album “California” with Matt Skiba last year.
